Rachael MacFarlane is an American voice actress and singer. She voices the Computer on The Orville.

BackgroundEdit

Being the younger sister of Seth MacFarlane, Rachael is most known for voice acting in the animated series American Dad. She has also done work in Codename: Kids Next Door, Static Shock, The Batman, and Winx Club. Rachael was also the production manager for The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Welcome to Eltingville.

The OrvilleEdit

Rachael provides the voice of the Computer in the episodes If the Stars Should Appear, Pria, Into the Fold, and Firestorm. She recalled her feelings when she first saw the set:

When I walked onto the set for the first time, I got so choked up. I could see this was everything he’s always wanted to do. This show is a childhood dream come true for Seth. As a kid, he was never happier than when he was watching episodes of Star Trek, so Orville is what he came to Hollywood to do.[1]
Rachel was on set while filming Command Performance and told director Robert Duncan McNeill the following anecdote about her brother:
Seth's sister told me that [Seth] bought boxes ... of aluminum foil, covered his entire bedroom---every square inch---with aluminum foil so he could shoot a Star Trek fan film when he was 12 or 13 years old that he wrote, directed, and built the set.... So she literally said, 'It was amazing to see that he was making a 100 million dollar fan film basically.'[2]
