Spatial fold

Spatial fold.

A spatial fold is a type of spatial anomaly found throughout the cosmos.

It is a fold in spacetime. It is a region of spatial compression that has high pressure forces and connects distant regions of space. The high pressure space can fracture hulls. Spatial folds are nicknamed "glory holes" by Gordon Malloy, and picked up on by Bortus. Ed Mercer and Gordon Malloy learned about this at Academy at Union Point.
